Payroll Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide our award-winning service to Japan clients to maintain client relationship on a regular basis
  • Provide business consulting and payroll knowledge to customers enabling comprehensive payroll solution to be delivered to clients
  • Responsible for payroll processing and service related to payroll, social insurance, withholding tax, inhabitant tax of the Japan Payroll team
  • Executing implementation for clients and help client to make payroll smoothly
  • Prepare HR reports such as movement, headcount, summary, cost centre allocation and payroll breakdown reports
  • Responsible for implementing a new payroll setup (database, payroll & leave administration)
  • Knowledge in processing Japanese labour laws and tax laws
  • Responsible for other administrative duties within the payroll team
  • Assist with the setup of Links’ HR Outsourcing presence in Japan
    • Help to formalize internal and external documents (e.g. sales kit, employment contracts, service info for Japan office)
    • Attend client meetings and onboarding of payroll employees as needed
    • Ensure Links Japan is fully compliant and set up of insurance, pension and tax matters

 

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Human Resources and/or end to end HR payroll processes
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Outsourcing field
  • Solid in payroll procedures, payroll software exposure and Microsoft office
  • Must be good in excel application and sensitive to numbers
  • Knowledge and work experience related to labor laws and tax laws
  • Work experience in applications preparation for social insurance and employment insurance
  • Ability to adapt to change and fast paced environment
  • Action-orientated, detail minded and organized
  • Strong communication skills and inter-personal skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written Japanese and English
