On Sunday, 26th November Links will be participating in the UNICEF Charity Run!
At Links we recognise the value that people and actions can bring to the world. Specialised in HR, we are all for taking initiative and appreciating what each person can bring to the table to make a better tomorrow.
With that in mind, we were keen to get involved with this year’s UNICEF Charity Run, as it was an opportunity for the office to get active and help create change in the world. As part of our HR wellness programme we were eager to get our staff in the mindset to challenge themselves both physically and mentally. To thank them for their participation, Links offered a half day in-lieu for any employee who takes part in the run on the day.
Coming into its 12th year, the UNICEF Charity Run was created in support of their global campaign aiming to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV in developing countries. We encourage you to come join us on this cause and say hi to us on the tracks!
For anyone who would like to chip in for the cause but isn’t interested in running or cannot make it on the day, you can also do so by sponsoring Links in the run. We will be setting up a donations page shortly, so please make sure to keep up with our updates on the blog and over social media to learn more about that!
The deadline for registrations for the run is in a little over a week, on the 9th October. For more information and to sign up, please check out the UNICEF Charity Run webpage.
