By Las Rodrigo– Head of Recruitment, Links International Macau
As manager of a recruitment agency in Macau, I can tell you that finding talent in Macau (much like everywhere else at the moment, I would imagine) can be a challenge.
What makes hiring in Macau even more challenging is when the region is inhabited by 655,000 or so individuals, with approximately 150,000 of those being imported labour and working in the hotels or casinos. Therefore, the local talent quickly gets snapped up by some of the big corporations here ranging from hotels, to the gaming industry, to the telecoms or IT industry in Macau.
We at Links Macau are very proud of the local support that we give to universities and the encouragement that we provide to graduates of all fields on their road to success.
We were recently recognised at the University of Saint Joseph Career Day for our continued support to the students.
Associate Professor and Rector of the campus, Dr. Peter Stilwell, thanked us personally in front of delegates from around 100 different companies of varied fields and specialisms.
Supporting the local community is very important to Links, and especially in Macau. Our office here caters predominantly to the local Macau population, starting with helping and guiding graduates, to working with and supporting highly established professionals from varying fields.
If you would like to find out more as a candidate and are currently living in Macau then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can help take your career to the next level.
