Protect Your Privacy- Learn Your Rights Under GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is just around the corner, officially taking effect on the 25th May, 2018. As you may know by now, the GDPR is a data privacy regulation aimed at protecting the personal data and privacy of individuals residing in the EU.

Links International processes personal data to perform our award winning payroll, immigration, recruitment services and secure processing of all individual’s information is critical to Links’ business as a HR services provider (regardless of whether the individual resides in the EU or another country).

In the lead up to GDPR, a number of our EU based clients have requested details about our GDPR policy and of measures Links has taken to comply with GDPR. Links’ full GDPR Policy and measures that we have taken can be found as part of our Privacy Policy.

As part of these measures and with a view of enabling individuals to exercise their rights in respect of their personal information under GDPR, we have created a GPDR request form to streamline individual’s GDPR requests.  In the event that we receive a GDPR request an employee that we believe will impact our ability to provide services to a client under our contract (eg. monthly payroll), we will raise the GDPR request with the client as soon as possible.
