A cloud-based HR system, HR analytics and automated workflows are essential for leading HR teams in Asia who are transforming their HR function. Historically, the deployment of a quality HR system has often been obstructed by concerns such as the threat of data leaks, internal resource constraints and the cost of new technology.
However, recent advancements in technology, including secure cloud-based HR systems, mean that HR systems have become increasingly easier to afford and deploy effectively. Other departments are constantly using the latest technologies in order to get ahead. For example, customer service staff use chat-bots on hotlines; insurance companies use artificial intelligence to process claims; sales teams update CRM logs via mobile devices; merchandisers use predictive analytics in resource planning, etc.
Ironically, despite HR managing the most valuable asset of any organisation – people – HR seems to have been left out of this technology revolution.
Links has been invited to speak at an event about the future of HR Tech hosted by Employee Connect and Microsoft on Friday 30th June in Hong Kong.
