Frequently Asked Questions at the 2024 Singapore HR Tech Festival!

The Links team had a fantastic experience at the HR Tech Festival Asia 2024 held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore! Below, we’ve addressed some of the most commonly asked questions from the 2024 HR Tech Festival:

  • Do you all have in-country team in Singapore only?

No. Links is in 14 locations physically across APAC, including Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea. Learn more about our locations here.

  • Do you provide EoR services before transiting to payroll outsourcing services? We are awaiting for our entity and bank accounts to be setup and will need someone to hire our employees on behalf.

Yes. Links offers both Employer of Record services and Payroll Outsourcing services in all our locations. In fact, we have existing clients who have requested for EoR-transit-payroll solutions too!

  • Do you provide a portal for employees to self-service their payslips / tax documents, and also manage their attendance and absences and even claims?

Yes. Links have built and developed our own regional platform, which is a single platform for all users across all levels to access their payslips / tax documents and manage their attendance, absences, claims and over time. Other popular features of the platform include our dynamic report access and analytics, as well as our payroll dashboard which offers a single glance of each location’s payroll statuses at any point of time.  Fun fact:  Our portal is available in the top 8 languages used across APAC as part of our language localisation efforts!

  • If we have our own internal HCM, such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, BambooHR, or specialised platforms such as Kronos, Gaia Works etc, do we still need to use Links One platform?

No. Links will be able to offer integration options, i.e. single way inbound from your HCM to Links payroll solution / dual way inbound + outbound payslips and tax documents from Links payroll solution to your HCM and even Single Sign On should you prefer to host payslips and tax documents on Links One while keeping your current HCM. Integrations methods and frequency are fully configurable as well and we are able to share recommended practices based on your data readiness of the system, current system landscape etc.

  • Are we able to engage Links for just your visa and work passes application services, without the payroll outsourcing or employer of record services?

Yes. Links is able to support your in your immigration / work passes / visa services only, across most of our locations in the region.
